The 6th edition of the "Mediaș Bike Marathon" is organized by the Mediaș City Hall, the "Dianthus" Tourism and Ecology Association, the "Mediaș 750 years" Association, in partnership with the Sibiu County Council. Specifically, the "Mediaș Bike Marathon" is a cross country cycling competition that takes place in the northern area of Sibiu County, crossing both picturesque rural towns with fortified churches, such as Biertan, Richiș and Buzd, as well as shady forest areas from the heritage of the Natura 2000 Site, part of the routes being included in the already known Via Transilvanica. The contest takes place along three routes of 25, 40, and 75 kilometers, respectively, that cover several localities in the Târnavelor region.

A weekend of adventure, reconnection with tradition and nature in the heart of Transylvania. We set out to take you with us to explore nature and unravel the mysteries of the fortress together.
